Best Doctors Canada will be in touch within 2 business days to confirm our receipt of your form and to let you know we’ve begun working on your file.

Depending on your needs and situation, there are various requirements to fulfill your claim.- Specialist appointment
For specialist appointment bookings, we begin collecting medical records from your family physician and submit them to the desired facility. We will ask you to pay your deductible and then you can expect to receive your appointment time within about 7 days. - Second medical opinion
We collect all your medical records, ask you to sign a consent form and submit everything to our partner company that performs second opinions. The leading physician within the required specialty then analyzes the information and provides an expert second opinion. This process takes about 4 weeks and is a value-added service from Best Doctors Canada. There is no deductible payment required. - Personal health assessment
We collect your form and send it to the appropriate medical clinic you requested. That clinic will then be in direct contact within 24 hours to book your assessment. In this case, there may or may not be a deductible payment required.
